The Features
The Quote Plus component integrates seamlessly into the Quote record page. It can complement the standard Quote Line Item related list or serve as a complete replacement, depending on your business needs.
Opening the Quote Plus modal enables users to add products, edit existing lines, and configure the entire quote without navigating away. Categorised accessory products can be selected with ease, while line items that breach data validation or product rules are automatically highlighted.
The Quote Plus configurator makes it simple to customise individual quote line items, add accessories, and apply product rules on the spot. Its clean, tablet-friendly interface is ideal for on-site quoting, giving sales teams a quick, reliable way to build accurate quotes while ensuring product configurations remain compliant in real time.
Quote Plus provides advanced capabilities for developers and power users, allowing custom Lightning Web Components to be seamlessly integrated into the editor to support bespoke business processes. For example, a chart can display discount tiering based on the current quote line item configuration. Paired with library support, such as Chart.js, Quote Plus enables dynamic, data-driven visualisations and custom functionality, giving teams the flexibility to extend the platform to meet unique requirements.
Quote Plus includes a robust validation framework that allows custom violations to be defined around product rules or any other data in the system. When a user configures a quote line item in a way that does not comply, alerts are raised immediately, providing clear guidance to correct the issue. This ensures that all quotes remain accurate and compliant, reducing errors and streamlining the quote process.
